Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her mother is English and the other half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family was originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy stated she was difficult and that she was unable to study English in the hope of return to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. She later enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school productions. After she turned 16, she quit school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. The opportunity was offered to her opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a job as a model.
