Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multicultural family. She was born in South London. Her father and mother have both been English. Her family was raised on a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She studied acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She was on stage in several productions as a student such as the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting by starring in a movie titled Storm Damage. In the years since, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's first film of debut came from the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. The following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. She also had the opportunity to play the role in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe was also the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated and be apathetic, which premiered on Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe first aired in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series was telecast at The CW for only two episodes before being ended. The actress was selected in February 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the initial two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would quit the show following an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode of the third season. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. The four brothers of Ashley, each of them extremely athletic, played hockey during the winter and baseball during the summers, meaning they grew up mostly in baseball and arenas. Ashley never actually walked -she danced, so when she was two and a half she began Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. Ashley participated in the top divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe until she graduated from high school. Ashley took home the best soloist award at every major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just the few.
