Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for a total of twenty years. Most well-known is for her performance on House in the series House on Fox. She was raised in Wayne and was raised in a strict Jewish tradition. When she was 18, she moved to New York City to study at the Tisch School of the Arts. However, very quickly she began to be involved in the city's club scene, and was able to make enough headlines to get seen by the media and while also becoming conscious of the devastating effects of AIDS. In the end, she teamed her talent and fame with the ability to write and compose to create a show called Positive Me. Her first gig was at MTV as host of Awake on the Wild Side shortly after. She began to appear in TV and film productions following the end of the series. Initially, she was she appeared in small roles.
