Raul Alejandro Ruiz Ocasio-Ruiz was born on the 10th of January 1993 is a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter. Referred to as the "King of the New Reggaeton",[2][3He is part of "the younger generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. The debut album, Afrodisiaco, was released in November of the year 2020. Vice Versa was his follow-up studio album. The lead single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. From twelve nominations, he has received two Latin Grammy Awards. Raul Alejandro Ocasio was born on January 10 1993 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was raised in Canovanas and Carolina. [4][5] His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz played guitar and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his vocalist backing. However, he eventually left after stating that he couldn't perform the way he expected. To be a scout for the Premier Development League (PDL), he moved to Orlando, Florida. Rauw Alejandro's style of music consists of Latin R&B, reggaeton, rhythmic pop, and ballads. Billboard said that it's been instrumental in helping "set him apart from the growing group of reggaetoneros who are influenced by pop". Presley and Jackson were influential in the beginning. He was also influenced later on by Ricky Martin and Daddy Yankee. He also mentions Ciara as a musical influence.
